Pulled Pork Vegan Sliders

  • Jackfruit: 

  • 1 tbsp. Garlic Powder

  • 1 tbsp. Onion powder

  • 1 tbsp. BBQ spice blend

  • 1 tbsp. liquid smoke

  • Coleslaw:

  • 1 Red Cabbage

  • 1 Green Cabbage

  • 1 cup of Vegan Mayo

  • 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar

  • salt and pepper

  •  Cooking Jackfruit:

  • 1 onion

  • 3 cloves of minced garlic

  •  BBQ spice blend

  • 1 cup of BBQ sauce of choice Sauce:

  • 1 Cup Vegan Mayo

  • 1 Cup of Ketchup

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 1 tsp pepper

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp W sauce

Is it Super bowl time already? Well lets make something that will blow peoples minds. Its Game Day baby and you need to have a half time meal . So lets make something that's vegan friendly to. This is a guarantee touchdown with the family and friends so lets get ready to make the home team happy.

Lets start with the jackfruit shall we. Now take it out the brine and wash it off.  Now if you want to take away the briny taste boil your jackfruit in vinegar and water. Now once its boiled for 15 minutes take it out and begin to shred the jackfruit. 

Once your jackfruit is done in a pan or pot add your olive oil, garlic, onions and jackfruit and begin to season with salt and pepper, garlic powder, paprika, liquid smoke, BBQ spice blend and let that begin to cook. Once its cooked begin to add your vegetable stock and let it come to a simmer for 30 minutes, once its at a simmer add your BBQ sauce of choice inside and begin to mix.

Once mixed and cook set it in your oven on a sheet tray for at least 40 minutes. while that's cooking. Were going to make our slaw. Mix together your coleslaws and carrots add salt and peppery, celery salt apple cider vinegar, and mayo and begin to mix. once you have mixed everything wrap and place in refridgerator.

At the half way mark take out your jackfruit and add some more BBQ sauce and let it finish. Once finished grab some Kings Hawaiian Rolls and put your jackfruit in and top with the slaw and serve and guarantee to have a touchdown in your home.
